HIGH QUALITY PEONIES

Our peonies has been selected for the beauties of their flowers, their resistance to diseases but also for their strong stems holding the flowers without any support (unless indicated).

High quality peonies perfectly adapted to cold weather as they have been growing in the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region in the province of Québec (zone 3) and now, at our new farm of Saint-Augustin-de-Desmaures (zone 4) located in the vicinity of Quebec City.

REGISTERED VARIETIES

All our peonies are true to name and come from recognized sources or directly from the breeders. Each variety is registered toward the American Peony Society by the breeders.

NO << IN VITRO >> PROPAGATION

All my intersectional hybrids (Itoh) have been bought directly from the breeders Roger Anderson et Don Hollingsworth who has been growing them in the field and propagating them by division of these mature plants. I exclusively sell divisions from these mature plants that has been growing in my field and that are well adapted to our canadian winter (zone 3). None of them came from In Vitro propagation and are reproduced this way. We use the old way to propagate them: growing in open fields!

BARE ROOT DIVISIONS IN THE FALL

The best way to propagate a mature peony plant is by division of its roots in the fall. Each division should have eyes, crown and roots.

We sell bare root divisions of mature plants having a minimum of 3 to 5 eyes on the crown. Our bare root divisions are shipped in the fall only, directly to the customers by mail or by a specialised shipping company.
