The very first flowers arrive about May 20th with the extra early bloomers. Those fast bloomers bear generally flowers of simple form, in shades or reds or soft tones of yellows. Usually, plants are compacts i.e shorter stems for cuts, and quantities& choices are more limited..they are rare varieties. However, they still are magnificent as cut flowers with an excellent vase life because they are freshly cut from the fields.
Blooming of the well know << lactifloras big doubles>>, as we know more like Sarah Bernardht & Monseigneur Jules Elie, arrivse generally about June 10-15th depending on Mother's Nature humor and it ends usually at the end of the first week of July. As the flowers are cut in buds, they can be successfully kept in cold storage (1-2C) durant many weeks for events holding later in July.
As all our peonies are field-grown, blooming time may vary a little from year to year along Mother's Nature humor. So, it is impossible for us to garantee the availability of a specific variety for a precise date or event. However, we will make everything we can to send you the desired colrs and if possible your preferred varieties.
